The Wind Energy sector is booming, requiring during the next 20 years a large number of highly educated engineers and academics. The development of Offshore Wind Energy increases this demand, both in number and expertise.
Four universities which are leaders in Wind Energy and Offshore research and education iniate the new Erasmus Mundus Master Course: European Wind Energy Master.

A net of associated partners, composed of the main Wind Energy research institutions, industry and NGOs reinforces the team.
The MSc programme is divided in four specializations/tracks, following the energy conversion chain:

- Rotor Design
- Electric Power Systems
- Offshore Engineering
