Keynote Speakers

Entrainment of Brain Oscillations 2015

We are honored to welcome our two keynote speakers Prof. Dr. Joachim Gross and Prof. Dr. Ole Jensen to EBO 2015. Both are experts in the field of brain oscillations and published seminal work using different approaches to investigate rhythms in the brain.

Prof. Dr. Joachim Gross

Joachim Gross is Professor of Systems Neuroscience, Acting Director of the Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging and Wellcome Trust Senior Investigator at the University of Glasgow. His group investigates the functional role of brain oscillations using Neuroimaging and computational methods, with MEG as the method of choice. His main goal is to understand how brain oscillations support perception and action.

Prof. Dr. Ole Jensen

Ole Jensen is a Professor at the Faculty of Science, Radboud University Nijmegen leading the "Neuronal Oscillations" research group. His current work focuses on linking oscillatory brain activity to cognition. Specifically the goal of the 'Neuronal Oscillations' research group is to understand how oscillatory activity shapes the functional architecture of the working brain during cognitive processing.
