Project Phase II
Internationale Conference „Failing Identities, Schools and Migrations – Teaching in (Trans)National Constellations“ from 26.- 28. October 2018 at the University of Bremen
The goal of the international conference, `Failing Identities, Schools, and Migrations – Teaching in (Trans)National Constellations`, which will be taking place at the University of Bremen is a critical and reflexive confrontation with the role of pedagogy in times of globalised migration movements and the impact on (trans-)national constellations on teaching and learning. In this conference, we will focus both on schools as a field of action and teacher training as central interfaces to connect science and discourse practices. The conference aims at creating a fruitful international platform for a both scientific and practical exchange on different and innovative ways in which pedagogic professionalism in migration societies is and can be realised in different national contexts.
