Research assistent Aquator
Andrea Hain is a research associate at COAST at the University of Oldenburg. Her research focuses on the marine bioeconomy where she pursues an interdisciplinary, holistic approach. Andrea is currently involved in the joint project AQUATOR - Accelerator for the Development of the Aquatic Bioeconomy. The project focuses on the development and provision of extensive services and infrastructure along bioeconomic value chains from an operational, socioeconomic and administrative perspective. Within the project, she particularly analyses both the added values as well as conflict situations that result from measures of the aquatic bioeconomy in regional societies and their environment.
Andrea holds degrees from Wageningen University in International Development Studies, specialization in Sociology of Development (B.Sc) and from the Europa-Universität Flensburg in European Studies (M.A. & M.Sc/Cand.soc.).
