Responsible for the preparation of an integrated climate protection concept for the University of Oldenburg with the goal of climate neutrality
The person
Anna Krämer has been a research assistant at COAST since 01 June 2021. As part of a project of the Federal Ministry for the Environment in the context of the Municipal Directive, she is responsible for the creation and development of a Integrated climate protection concept for the University of Oldenburg with the goal of climate neutrality.
The integrated climate protection concept should consist of the following components:
- As-is analysis and energy & GHG balance sheet
- Potential analysis and scenario development
- GHG reduction targets, strategies & prioritised fields of action
- Stakeholder participation
- Catalogue of measures
- Continuation strategy
- Controlling concept
- Communication strategy
Anna Krämer graduated in May 2021 with a Master's degree in Sustainability Economics and Management (M.A.) with a final grade of 1.3 at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. After an internship in the communications and sustainability department of Deutsche Post DHL AG, she gained practical experience as a regional staff member in the parliamentary group of Bündnis90/die Grünen in the Lower Saxony state parliament for MdL Susanne Menge and as a student assistant at the Chair of Ecological Economics. As a member of the chair's staff she was already Climate Neutral UniversityWorking Group and was thus able to accompany the climate protection project from the beginning.
In addition to her studies, Anna Krämer has been active on a voluntary basis as a student representative in the Senate of the University of Oldenburg and in the NachDenkstatt initiative.
