Existing fsr websites
- Various websites of universities are presented.
- The universities presented are: Ansbach, Leipzig, Essen, Dresden, Paderborn
Some aspects that should be considered when creating a student council website
- A clear design is recommended, the site should not be overloaded with information
- Information for new students should be easy to find on the website
- Information and summaries for certain modules can be made available on the website (cf. Studydrive).
- In certain cases, sponsors can also be named on the website, which could also generate additional income for a student body.
- Most student bodies have their own website, but there is also the possibility of requesting a separate area on the university website -> this can save technical effort and make it easier to maintain the website
- Target group orientation, content should be tailored to the target group
The websites are discussed in small groups.

- Central questions for structuring a website: What is the website needed for? What use should it have?
Functions of a website:
- Reporting and accountability function: calls for tenders, minutes, newsletters
- Representation function
- Information function: regulations, FAQ
- Organisational function: event programmes, registration forms
- Service function: study abroad, old exams, complaint box
