An introduction to accreditation was given using the attached presentation. The various actors, procedures and the purpose of accreditation were outlined.

Discussion round

• Examples from various universities were discussed and questions answered. It was noticed that accreditations usually become present for a Student council when one is taking place. However, these are not the only moments in the course of an accreditation round in which a Student council can utilise the information in this regard and also collaborate in quality management.
• Co-organisation and cooperation within quality management were only touched upon and the discussion was postponed to the subsequent workshops.
