1. realisation - impressions and effect
First run successful
The first round was successfully completed. After an introductory meeting, the modules were carried out in the form of one-day events between 13 February 2020 and 12 March 2020.
Based on the content taught and the individual reflection in their own company, the participating apprentices developed their own idea that contributes to the sustainability of their company and the bakery and confectionery trade. The plan was for the apprentices to present the project ideas they had developed to the expert jury and interested members of the public (companies, colleagues, schools, families and friends of the apprentices) in the form of an ideas fair in order to provide and promote further exchange and discussion on fields of action with regard to sustainable management in the food trade. Due to the coronavirus-related restrictions, the project team was forced to make a change to the original plan. For this reason, the realisation of the ideas fair as a type of examination was changed to the presentation of the project idea in the form of a self-produced video.
Project ideas
The ideas developed reflect the knowledge acquired through the additional qualification and represent innovative solution proposals with regard to the identified fields of action.
You can find an overview of all the project ideas developed in the 1st round here.
Effect
As part of the additional qualification, the apprentices have developed individual project ideas that contribute to the sustainability of their own business and thus the food trade. The fact that apprentices can become active problem solvers with regard to the sustainable design of their own business is demonstrated by the fact that some of the ideas developed are now being implemented in the businesses.
