Become a creative problem solver!
As part of the project "Sustainable management in the food trade", the additional qualification mach.werk is being developed together with Münster University of Applied Sciences. The focus of this additional qualification is on apprentices training to become bakers, confectioners and specialist salespeople in the food trade. Together, we want to deal with various sustainability topics in the food trade.
Despite the size of the term sustainability, it gets to the heart of bakeries and patisseries: A return to traditional production methods, regionality and a growing customer awareness of good, healthy food.
mach.werk aims to enable apprentices to evaluate and overcome the challenges of sustainable development through creative ideas. The work and business processes of bakeries and confectioners are examined holistically in order to subsequently integrate sustainability into everyday business, optimise and modernise processes and create innovative solutions.
mach.werk promotes skills that strengthen apprentices as future subjects and managers in the food trade through innovative measures and impulses, help to shape it sustainably and communicate it to the outside world. In this way, the project provides sustainable added value for the apprentice, the company and society.
