10th anniversary of Career Day

Mobile working, flexible models for working hours, work-life blend – does all that still apply to today's students and tomorrow's new recruits? What actually defines Generation Z? And what are the consequences for not only businesses but more immediately for institutions for higher education?

On 6 May, the Study and Career Counselling Service of the University of Oldenburg and the transfer project "Innovative University Jade-Oldenburg!" celebrated the 10th anniversary of Career Day, the University of Oldenburg's job and internship fair, with invitees from the worlds of science, economics and culture.

The guest lecturer at the event was the economist and futurologist Prof. Dr. Christian Scholz.
Welcoming speeches were given by Prof. Dr. Meinhard Simon, Vice President for Research and Transfer of the University of Oldenburg and Dr. Christian Friege, CEO of CEWE.

Following the lecture, there was an opportunity to meet interesting new contacts and engage in conversations while enjoying finger food and drinks.
