The Hanse Law School (HLS), launched in 2002 as a joint programme of studies between the Universities of Oldenburg, Bremen, and Groningen, was reaccredited in 2020. Hanse Law School students have so far had the status of visiting students at UG. The options for enrolling HLS students in a double Bachelor’s or Master’s degree will be investigated. The stated goal is to create a joint Bachelor’s degree “Comparative and European Law” and a joint Master’s degree “Transnational Law”.
Joint research in law and politics will be encouraged via joint seminars and workshops.
