Waldemar Klauser studied nanostructure technology in Würzburg. During his Bachelorthesis he focused on ferromagnetic resonance as a measurement technique and characterized aluminum alloys through the means of positron annihilation spectroscopy (PAS) and small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) during his Masterthesis. Afterwards he worked in the automotive sector in the field of non-destructive testing.

Since September 2015 he is a research associate at the Division Microrobotics and Control Engineering.
