The Center for Digital Innovation Lower Saxony (ZDIN) will enter the first round with its new event series "Digitaltalk Lower Saxony"! The kick-off event with the topic "Citizen Energy - Solidarity and System Responsibility?" will take place on 16.09.2021. The Digitalized Energy Systems Group has co-organized the event as a partner in the Future Energy Lab.

The event will be streamed live from CORE in Oldenburg starting at 5 p.m. Citizens are invited to join online and contribute questions and suggestions to the discussion.

Innovative technologies offer citizens the opportunity to harvest energy themselves and to form energy cooperatives. How do such cooperatives work, what are their advantages and disadvantages, and what are the technical requirements? Speakers from science, business and politics will discuss these issues. In a discussion with moderator Katharina Guleikoff, the speakers will also talk about the importance of citizen energy systems for cities.

This event will be held in German. For further Information, see https://zdin.de/aktuelles/digitaltalk-energie
