In addition to the Regulations governing the Principles for safeguarding good academic practice at the Carl von Ossietzky University, the ICBM has adopted a Research Data Management Policy.
Institute-wide solutions for research data management are developed by the Data Management Coordinator, which continues to be available as a central contact point for information and questions.
decentralized approaches
Within the working groups, data management managers ensure complete documentation and timely backup of the primary data generated. Technical solutions for data storage and organization are provided by the institute's IT services:
- For active data, this includes, for example, group drives, cloud storage and databases.
- Data sets can be published via the BIS repository DARE.
