Speaker information

We are delighted that you will be taking part as a speaker at the Oldenburg Teacher Training Day. The aim of TOLL is to bring together the various stakeholders in teacher training to discuss current topics and to facilitate networking. The target groups are therefore people from schools, teacher training colleges, universities and other educational institutions. With TOLL, we aim to engage both teachers and learners.

This information sheet explains how TOLL works and how our new event format, the TOLL Ideas Workshop, is structured.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

What does your involvement in a TOLL ideas workshop involve?

  • If your submission for the TOLL is accepted, you will have up to 15 minutes to present your idea in the Ideas Workshop.
  • Alongside you, there will be other people giving presentations as well.
  • There are usually 2–3 contributions per Ideas Workshop.
  • Your contribution will form the basis for the thematic discussion within the group.
  • The ideas workshops are facilitated by another person.
  • You will be put in touch with the other contributors and the facilitator before the Ideas Workshop.
  • The entire ideas workshop lasts 105 minutes.
  • The size of the ideas workshop varies between 20 and 30 participants, depending on the topic.
