Description of the excursion programme: (under construction, booking from September 2011)
In the electricity workshop at Staakenweg primary school, children gain their first practical experience with electricity. After an introduction to the theory and the necessary safety measures, the pupils practise using soldering irons, crocodile clips and plugging in electronic components. The children learn how to read simple circuit diagrams and use them to build closed circuits such as alarm systems.
