This Diplom thesis deals with the question of how entrepreneurship can be made possible within the structures of established companies ("intrapreneurship"). An important aspect here is linked to the dilemma of centralisation and decentralisation. How much freedom is given to decentralised units to enable entrepreneurial action without losing sight of the advantages of centralisation? This question arises at various levels of a corporate group. In this practical diploma thesis, such questions are discussed using the specific example of Galeria Kaufhof.
Question:
How can entrepreneurial behaviour be promoted in established companies?
