23 students from various Austrian universities were given the opportunity to present their bachelor theses at the Austrian Parliament. The research projects focused on topics related to sustainability as well as accessibility and inclusion, addressing key societal challenges from an academic perspective.
During the event, the students presented their work to politicians, fellow students, and other interested guests, engaging in discussions about their findings and their relevance for policy and society. The conference is part of the European Posters in Parliament initiative, which aims to make student research visible and to connect academia with democratic institutions.
Following the conference, the posters will be exhibited for three weeks in January 2026 at the Parliament’s Visitors’ Centre. Visitors will be able to access the content via QR codes and explore the research results in more detail. In addition, the contributions will be published in UR – das Journal, the journal for student research at the University of Vienna.
