About us

The department focuses on the scientific implementation of Advanced Nursing Practice in Germany. This includes the conception and responsibility for the content of the Advanced Nursing Practice degree programme, the scientific monitoring of the development and testing of clinical fields of action and academic appointments of Advanced Practice Nurses as well as the evaluation of care-relevant outcomes.
The Nursing Science working group currently comprises five research assistants (doctoral students) and two study assistants. The doctoral students are nurses and some of them continue to work in their nursing profession alongside their employment at the university.

Description of the FWJ place

The volunteer will be involved in the further development of the Nursing Advanced Nursing Practice degree programme. One activity involves supporting the development of VR-supported simulation scenarios in nursing. This includes content development and technical implementation.
Another activity is supporting the further development and implementation of simulation scenarios in which drama patients are used. Other projects in which volunteers can participate are the Social Media AG of the Department of Health Services Research, support in the organisation of conferences and networking activities.

Please note: This position is primarily aimed at potential first-time graduates, people with a migration background or people with disabilities. This target group is prioritised for selection.
