The Oldenburg team from VANEVO convinced the jury at the start2grow business plan competition with their innovative idea.Hayo Seeba, Fredrik Haack, Timo di Nardo and Jan grosse AustinO, from the DLR Institute of Networked Energy Systems, have developed two technical innovations for the production of redox flow batteries. VANEVO's customisable redox flow electricity storage systems allow smaller commercial enterprises with photovoltaic systems to increase their own consumption and thus reduce their electricity costs. The team supported by GIZ has been funded by an EXIST research transfer programme since October 2015.
