Following its successful certification as a Young Entrepreneurs in Science campus in 2023, the University of Oldenburg achieved follow-up certification for the second time in November 2025. This recognises the university as a partner institution of the Young Entrepreneurs in Science Initiative (YES) of the Falling Walls Foundation, which is committed to promoting more entrepreneurial spirit in science and research. The "Young Entrepreneurs in Science Campus" award is an expression of the sustained commitment to raising awareness of start-ups at the university or research institution honoured.
