Applications are now open! In winter semester 2025/26, the new mentoring programme "Perspectives. Pathways to Academia", which is aimed at advanced doctoral students and early postdocs who are the first in their family to complete an academic education.

Good academic practice and generative AI

How should research results be documented? How to cite correctly? How do you deal with image sources? The eLearning course provides answers to questions about correct scientific work Good academic practice in doctoral studies.
At the end of November 2024, the University of Oldenburg published general recommendations for dealing with (generative) AI in the doctoral field.

Highlight of the month

UOL Career Day 2025 - This year with panel discussions on the topics of founding and science management

Once again this year, the Study and Career Counselling Service (ZSKB) will ensure an interesting day at the Lecture Hall Centre.
Talks will complement the exhibition stands and ensure a varied day at the fair. Tip: from 10:15-11:00am there will be a panel discussion on the topic „Zwischen Wissenschaft und Verwaltung – Berufsfeld Wissenschaftsmanagement"  in room A14 1-111 that is jointly organised by the ZSKB and the Graduate Academy. Unfortunately, this panel discussion is taking place in German language. Questions in English language are more than welcome, however!
