The postdoc representation is looking for reinforcement! Due to a personnel change, a position for the informal postdoc representation at the UOL is vacant. Please note that registration for the Graduate Academy workshops takes place via StudIP and is binding. If you do not have StudIP access, please send an email to graduiertenakademie@uol.de.

In winter semester 2026/27, the new round of the mentoring programme "Progressio. Successfully shaping top positions in science" starts, which is aimed at advanced female postdocs (desirable: at least 3 years after the doctorate), junior research group leaders and junior professors with and without tenure track who are aiming for a professorship or a permanent leadership position in academia.

Panel discussion New horizons: career paths for scientists with doctorates

The panel discussion jointly organised by BYRD (University of Bremen) and the Graduate Academy (University of Oldenburg) will bring together doctoral candidates and postdocs with scientists with a PhD from various professional fields to reflect on and discuss their career paths, decisions and key skills.
