Highlight of the month

Panel discussion New Horizons: career paths for scientists with doctorates - a complete success!

On 18 February 2026, the panel discussion ‘New Horizons’, jointly organised by BYRD (University of Bremen) and the Graduate Academy, brought together doctoral candidates and postdocs with scientists from various professional fields who already hold doctorates to reflect on and discuss their career paths, decisions and key competencies. Inspiring, encouraging and thought-provoking reports opened up new perspectives on the audience's own future plans. Next year, the event will be hosted by the University of Oldenburg.
