Corner stone has been laid for new research centre

Work on the new building of the Centre for Marine Sensors proceeds: At the Wilhelmshaven site of the Institute for Chemistry and Biology of the Marine Environment the corner stone of the extension of the building has been lais today in the presence of the Lower Saxony Minister of Science and Culture, Björn Thümler.

Work on the new building of the Centre for Marine Sensors proceeds: At the Wilhelmshaven site of the Institute for Chemistry and Biology of the Marine Environment the corner stone of the extension of the building has been lais today in the presence of the Lower Saxony Minister of Science and Culture, Björn Thümler. Completion of the building is scheduled for December 2020. Construction work for the new centre is already underway for two months, the total cost will be about 5 million euros. About half of it is funded by the European Funds for Regional Development (EFRE), while the other half is financed by the University of Oldenburg.
