On 19 February, the mobile field container of the scientific project DynaCom arrived at its provisional final site near Hermann Lietz School on the East Frisean island of Spiekeroog. The Centre for Marine Sensors, involved in DynaCom and headed by Professor Oliver Zielinski, will use the container for the preparation of sensors within the scope of the project. Moreover, the scientists obtain current online weather data and will be able to observe at close range the impact of e.g. storm surges on the artificial islands of the project in the backbarrier tidal flats of Spiekeroog .
