As part of this university module, interdisciplinary teams of students work on real-life challenges. All this takes place within the framework of the innovative teaching and learning format known as challenge-based learning. As a company, you contribute a specific topic or question and support the development process as an equal partner.

Re-wetting of drained moors

Challenge:

  • How can seed production be scaled up as an independent business model?

Innovation and sustainability reference:

  • Related to SDG 6 (clean water), 11 (sustainable cities and communities), 12 (sustainable consumption and production), 13 (climate action), 14 and 15 (life below
    water and on land)
  • Innovative business model (re-wetting drained moors)

Framework conditions:

  • 6 months of joint collaboration
  • A team of 3 students
  • Weekly team meetings with a contact person from ZukunftMoor
  • Coordination via email and WhatsApp

Co-innovation:

  • Technology and market analysis for external seed procurement
  • Pitch deck for the use case of own seed production, including integration into existing value chain
