Erasmus+ enables higher education staff in programme countries to take part in training and further education measures which benefit internationalisation.
Staff at a German higher education institution with an ECHE are eligible to receive funding for training purposes to a host higher education institution with an ECHE or another public or private organisation active in the labour market or in the fields of education, training or youth in another programme country.
Mobility periods must last at least two days and a maximum of two months. A minimum duration of five days is recommended.
Staff from all areas of the university are eligible for training mobility funding, for example:
- general and technical administration
- schools (Fakultäten)
- International Office
- student services
- technology and transfer
- continuing education

Erasmus+ mobility funding includes fixed allowances for travel and subsistence expenses. Individuals may not apply for financial support from another EU programme to cover travel and subsistence expenses while receiving Erasmus+ funding.
The International Student Office announces a call for applications each year. All technical and administrative staff (MTV) will be informed by email and the programme details will be announced here.
Technical or administrative staff whose field of work or projects have an international aspect, or academic staff whose field of work has an administrative and international aspect may apply.
All universities with which the University of Oldenburg has an Erasmus+ cooperation agreement are eligible as receiving institutions.
