Project: The Open Master Hearing Aid is an open-source software platform for real-time audio signal processing, It can be used to test own prototype hearing device algorithms. The included Matlab coder allows also to run auditory models -- mostly developed in Matlab -- on it. In this thesis, a Matlab-model of the effective binaural processing will be refined towards computational efficiency and implemented as a plugin for the Open Master Hearing Aid. This will provide researchers with real-time predictions about the binaural perception, as, e.g., whether signal-enhancement algorithms disrupt the interaural cues.
