The aim of the interdisciplinary joint project is to better understand the significance of the growing possibilities of biomedicine for life planning with regard to ageing and dying. With the help of sociological and bioethical methods, two leading practices will be analysed as examples: preventive health care/anti-ageing and the anticipation of decisions at the end of life/ living wills.
