Registration

Please submit your proposal to attend the conference, including your full contact details (name, academic title, institutional affiliation, postal address, telephone number and email address), in an informal manner to mve2019@uol.de.

Conference fee

The fee for attending this year’s MVE meeting is 75 euros and includes on-site catering. Receipt of the fee is a prerequisite for registration. Please perform a bank transfer of the full conference fee to the following account (IBAN TBA) at Bank TBA. Please state your surname and ‘MVE Conference 2019’ as the payment reference.

Limited number of participants

Due to venue capacity, the number of participants is limited to 70. Any remaining places will be allocated to non-presenters on a ‘first come, first served’ basis; however, care will be taken to ensure an interdisciplinary mix in order to facilitate fruitful exchange across disciplinary boundaries.

Formalities for submitting papers

Interested academics are warmly invited to submit an abstract of their proposed paper (including information on the subject, research question, objectives and structure of the paper) of between 300 and 500 words by 15 July 2019 to mve2019@uol.de as a Word or PDF file. In addition to a short biography of no more than 10 to 12 lines, the abstract should also include full contact details (name, academic title, institutional affiliation, postal address, telephone number and email address). Extended abstracts or full working papers may also be submitted as email attachments. Notification of whether the proposed contribution has been accepted or rejected will be sent out in early August 2019.
