This workshop gives Ph D students* and Post Docs of the University of Oldenburg the opportunity t o familiarize themselves with the realities of both countries. The followi ng topics will be addressed:\n Communication and decision-making processe s: What is important to consider during a first contact? When is a commitm ent binding? Feedback and error culture: How is criticism expressed? Cul tural identity: What values have developed historically\, how did they com e about\, what continues to have an effect today? Self-perception and per ception by others: What has shaped me culturally? How does my behavior aff ect others?
