What to Expect

A variety of topics will be presented by experienced experts from SNV Netherlands, who have been working in domestic biogas programmes in several Asian and African countries for more than 25 years. The course content covers an introduction into biological and biochemical processes in a biodigester, different types of domestic biodigesters and appliances, the use of biodigester effluent as fertiliser and animal feedstock as well as the SNV approach to mass dissemination and biodigester sector development. Participation Fee
The participation fee of 150 EUR includes the digital workshop reader, the excursion to a local biogas plant, welcome dinner, cooking event as well as lunches and refreshments during the days of the workshop. The participation fee has to be transferred to the bank account of the University of Oldenburg (see information on the right side). The workshop is already sponsored by the HWK and the PPRE programme. Further funding is not possible. Incoming Master and PhD students can apply for a limited number of travel grants from the IPID4all programme until March 15th. Please click here for more infos. |

Registration is open until 20 March 2017 here There is a limited number of places available which will be awarded on first come first serve basis. Please sign up as early as possible, as issuing a visa may take up to 6 weeks.
Poster PresentationAll participants are invited to present their poster. Please send your file to until March 31st. We will print it on-site. You can either use your own design or use our template.
