New MSc-Students in RE at UOl

Edu Knagge (PPRE 1990-91)

In October 2018 the University of Oldenburg welcomed exactly 43 international students, who took up their MSc-studies with respect to Renewable Energy.

Postgraduate Programme Renewable Energy 2018 Excursion

"The Excursion’s adventure began with an exciting hike with everyone being well equipped with complete hiking equipment (such as rucksack, hiking shoes, polyester socks, hats, water bottle etc.). We started hiking from Schierke in Harz, a mountainous area in Northern Germany to the meteorological DWD (Deutscher Wetter Dienst, German Meteorological Service) weather station at Brocken, Harz.

After completing PPRE studies in year 2007, Wycliff Jagwe returned to his home country-Uganda and registered a service company called JW TECHNOLOGIES LTD. The company started its official operations on 26th July 2007, with one employee (Wycliff Jagwe) and now employs 14-permanent staff and nearly 20-highly experienced associates.

Wind destroys solar plant - PV panels fly into biogas plant

At 6.45 pm, police said Thursday, a sudden gale pulled through Catharinau (Uhlstädt-Kirchhasel) in Germany and uncovered the stable roof of an agricultural cooperative covering an area of about 100 square meters. Roof sheets and solar modules fell victim to the storm.
