New MSc-Students in RE at UOl

In October 2019, University of Oldenburg welcomed exactly 35 international students, who took up their MSc-studies with respect to Renewable Energy:
- 22 in the Postgraduate Programme Renewable Energy (https://uol.de/en/ppre/),
- 11 in the European Renewable Energy Master Programme (https://uol.de/en/eurec/) and
- 2 as Erasmus – Exchange Students from collaborating universities in Spain and France.
The incoming students stem from 23 different countries: 11 from Asia, 7 from LA (Latin America), 6 from Africa, 5 from Europe, 3 from MENA (Middle East/North Africa) and 2 from the US with a female quota of 25%.
With respect to previous studies, almost all students qualified with a Bachelor in Engineering. Overall 12 have a background in Electronics & Electrical, 10 in Mechanical, 3 in Chemical, and 7 in other engineering subjects, like Naval, Mining, Environmental, Process and Physics Engineering. Additionally, 3 students already studied Renewable Energy during their BSc-studies.
