Wind Physics Symposium
by ForWind Insitute
How can the planning, operation and monitoring of wind farms be further optimized? The "Wind Physics Symposium 2019" on 5 July at the WindLab in Oldenburg dealt with these questions and the associated physical processes. In cooperation with the Innovative Hochschule Jade-Oldenburg, the Fraunhofer Institute for Wind Energy Systems (IWES) and international partners, ForWind presented current research results in the fields of "Wind resource and wind farm effects", "Control of wind turbines and wind parks" and "Experimental and numerical research on wind turbines". More than 90 scientists and experts from the wind energy industry visited the Symposium.
This event will be organized annually. If you are interested in participating in the next ForWind Symposium in summer 2020, please write an e-mail to Jana Stone (firstname.lastname@example.org).
