The price of teaching
The quality of study programmes and teaching is becoming increasingly important in German-speaking countries and is a decisive criterion for universities to be able to hold their own in national and international comparisons.
The University of Oldenburg recognises the efforts of lecturers to improve their courses by awarding two teaching prizes.
Prizes are awarded for the academic year 2005/06:
- the best course
- the best coordinated module
Proposals can be submitted by students. Teachers can also apply for the awards themselves. As part of the regular course evaluation in accordance with § 5 NHG, recognition will also be awarded for the first time for courses in the 2006 summer semester.
The deadline for applications is 12 November 2006.
The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Wednesday 13 December 2006 at 18:30 in the BIS Hall.
