Master's student Cecilia Diaz Luque won the “Neuron of the Audience” Award for the best experimental poster (voted by the audience) at the 7th International Conference “Aspects of Neuroscience” (24-26th November 2017) in Warsaw.
The conference is organized by the Neurobiology Scientific Student Association at the Faculty of Biology, Warsaw University. It is an interdisciplinary conference that covers different aspects of neuroscience: neurobiological, cognitive, clinical, and computational neuroscience.
Cecilia presented her experimental poster during the Cognitive Neuroscience session. The poster entitled "Are effects of acute aerobic exercise on response inhibition dependent on exercise intensity? An fMRI study using a Go/No-go paradigm” was part of her Master's thesis project that she carries out in collaboration with the University Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Karl Jaspers Clinic and the Biological Psychology Lab in the Department of Psychology, University of Oldenburg.
