Are you working as a language tutor at a school or would you like to support refugee children and young people at school in the future? In a compact course, we will teach you the most important basics of language learning support and support you in your work.

Contents

The course consists of two parts

1. Introduction to language learning support

In a one-week compact course, we will teach you the basics of language learning support for refugee children at school. Among other things, the following topics will be covered:

• Role as a language tutor
• Basics of language teaching
• Grammar and grammar teaching
• Language-sensitive support
• Materials and textbooks

2. Bi-weekly intervision meetings as required

During the lecture period, we offer a meeting every fortnight for reflection and clarification of questions. You can discuss your concerns and problems, exchange ideas with others and, of course, discuss concrete methodical, grammatical questions with us.

Participation

The event is free of charge and voluntary. You will receive a certificate if you attend regularly. If you are interested, register directly on StudIP for the event "Sprachlernbegleitung für geflüchtete Kinder und Jugendliche - Deutsch PLUS für die Schule".

Times

The compact course takes place in August and February. The intervision meetings take place every second Tuesday from 12:15 - 13:45.
