This understanding determines whether children learn to use and build upon arithmetic relationships\, or whether gaps in their und erstanding become entrenched\, thereby preventing them from gaining deeper mathematical insights.\nThis symposium focuses on these basic skills\, br inging together the perspectives of primary and secondary education.
