Applying for a DOSB instructor licence C for popular sports
Exercise instructors are all-round talents in sports clubs. They plan and realise a wide variety of exercise programmes. Have you already completed a degree in sports science and would like to work as an exercise instructor in (your) club? Then you can start right away!
A degree in sports science (at least a bachelor's degree) is recognised free of charge for the issue of a DOSB Übungsleiter:in C Breitensport licence!
The ÜL-C licence for popular sports is issued for 2 years after application. During this time, at least 15 learning units must be collected through further education/events so that the licence can then be extended by 4 years without transition.
About the application procedure
The following documents are required for an application:
- completed application form(download; indicate "Without assignment" under Profile)
- signed code of conduct(download)
- Proof of a first aid course (not older than two years, at least 9 teaching units)
- (at least) Bachelor's certificate
Then send the documents to the sports officer of the Ammerland, Oldenburg, Wesermarsch sports region (by email or post):

Please note: It is also possible to have your studies recognised without being a member of the association!
