DESCRIPTION:This year\, the summer school of the DAAD’s Internationalisi
 ng Teacher Education project will focus on anti-racist education.  \nFeat
 uring contributions from Oldenburg\, Groningen\, Meppel and Gqeberha\, the
  individual sessions will allow participants to engage intensively with th
 e subject area\, and several key issues will be addressed from the perspec
 tive of different disciplines throughout the day:\nHow do we\, as teachers
 \, address forms of discrimination related to origin\, race and ethnicity?
 What does anti-racist education look like?How can theoretical approaches b
 e translated into good educational practice? \nStudents and lecturers fro
 m the Netherlands\, Oldenburg and South Africa will be attending.\nGqeberh
