Description

This course is open to all students who are preparing to write - or are already in the process of writing - their BA and MA theses in American literary and cultural studies, or who want to do a research module (Recherchemodul). Students will hone their academic writings skills through various writing exercises, present or develop an exposé in the course of the term, and share and review their work in progress. The course offers opportunities to discuss theoretical or other scholarly texts central to the research projects of the individual participants.
Requirements: regular attendance; development and presentation of an exposé; completion of writing assignments; active participation in class discussions.
