This course deals in depth with the determination of the substance data required in many areas of technical chemistry, but also in occupational safety and environmental protection. The various pure substance and mixture data are dealt with qualitatively and quantitatively and the basics and areas of application of various thermodynamic estimation and calculation methods are discussed. Using a variety of examples, participants will be introduced to procedures and techniques for method development, which should enable them to deal critically with the widely used literature models.
