SUMMARY:Research-based learning - theoretical and didactic principles
DESCRIPTION:Module 2 - Component 2.4\nResearch-based learning is highly va
lued at the University of Oldenburg and is anchored as a central concept i
n the mission statement for teaching. In research-based learning\, student
s carry out a research cycle during the course of their studies (in additi
on to their final theses) that is as complete and self-directed as possibl
 e. As a teacher\, you are faced with the challenge of organising and suppo
rting this process in an appropriate and goal-oriented manner.\nThis works
hop offers an introduction to the theoretical and didactic principles of r
esearch-based learning. Central aspects of this didactic approach will be
addressed\, such as the theoretical positioning of learning\, the degree o
f independent work by students and the role of teachers.\nIn addition\, th
e programmes at the University of Oldenburg that support teachers in imple
menting research-based learning are presented (see forschen@studium). The
application process will be explained and participants will be able to sha
rpen their ideas for the application in this workshop.\nIf you would like
to deepen the theoretical foundations through a practical application\, we
recommend taking the workshop together with the course "Research-based le
arning - suitable examination formats and practical implementation". The s
econd workshop deals with the practical planning of courses in the format
of research-based learning with regard to suitable examination formats.\nK

DESCRIPTION:Module 3 - Elective module 3.3\nThis workshop focusses on the
implementation of research-based learning with a particular focus on suita

in different subject contexts will be explored. The workshop offers space
for collegial exchange\, the further development of teaching concepts and
the processing of specific challenges.\nTheoretical and didactic foundati
