Personalities from the region with a particular socio-political commitment and in prominent active roles are actively involved as ambassadors of the University of Oldenburg Society in order to anchor the university even more firmly in our north-west region. They act as intermediaries between the university, the economy and the population in the region and promote membership of the UGO within their sphere of influence.
