The University Leadership and Management Training Course (UNILEAD) is a blended learning course for young University Leaders within the field of Higher Education Management. It focuses on Project Management, Strategic Management & Academic Leadership and Human Resource Management Additionally, various topics are addressed in the management context. The objective of the programme is the development and implementation of individual and innovative projects.

Target group

UNILEAD is directed at young University Leaders from selected countries in South East Asia, Middle-,  South America and Mexico, North and Sub-Saharan Africa, Northern Africa and Middle East.

Venue

The course takes place at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in Germany. Furthermore, UNILEAD international courses are offered on an irregular basis and deal with specific topics. UNILEAD international takes place in different countries or regions.

Timeframe

UNILEAD is an annual course, starting in January each year and finishing in September. (Deadline of application in October of the previous year).

Objective

The key objective of UNILEAD is to support participants in developing, designing and implementing innovative projects in the field of human resources and organisational development at their home institutions.

Digital Transformation in Higher Education – a topic that already has and will have a major impact on our Universities.
For this reason, UNILEAD offers both an online video series and a panel discussion on the topics of Higher Education Management, Internationalisation and Teaching and Learning.
