Out on strike in Bremen! Come to the big strike demonstration of all employees!
Dear colleagues,
Last week on Wednesday, you showed that you are serious about your demands in the collective bargaining round with the strike at the university and at the Studierendenwerk Oldenburg - and that you can be loud!
Next week, the strike will continue right before the third round of negotiations! This is your last chance to show the Tarifgemeinschaft der Länder (TDL) that you do not agree with the current state of negotiations!
The trade union ver.di is calling on all employees from the Weser-Ems district who are affected by the collective bargaining round of the federal states to take part in a joint strike day on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, in Bremen. You are called to strike all day.
Programme: Start at 9:00 a.m. on the Bürgerweide in Bremen. End around 12:30 pm
Information about the strike day
- An overview of your rights during the strike can be found in the attachment.
- Strike money will be collected on the buses or at the strike venue.
- Please register in advance at meine.verdi.de so that strike pay can be collected quickly.
- There is a separate meeting point and a separate block in the strike rally for employees of the Studierendenwerke, universities and special schools (see attachment).
Please all come to this meeting point so that you can sign the strike lists (if you have not already done so).
In the joint block we will show loudly and visibly: There are many university employees - and we are militant!
How to get there: There is a free bus journey (also for non-ver.di members). Two buses stop directly at the University of Oldenburg: Uni Oldenburg, in front of building V03, Ammerländer Heerstraße 138 at 7.25 am! Please be on time!
You don't live in Oldenburg? No problem, check the bus timetable for the other departure point!
Network with other employees at the Studierendenwerk and at the University of Oldenburg:
Come to the rally, join the strike and set an example together for good working conditions on campus!
Greetings of solidarity
