Corporate sustainability management encompasses the economic, social and ecological dimensions of entrepreneurial activity and their interactions with each other. The use of information and communication technologies (ICT) is a necessary prerequisite for its successful establishment in companies. On the one hand, ICT can support the informational safeguarding of corporate decisions (e.g. through corporate environmental information systems and sustainability accounting) and, on the other hand, enable the realisation of optimisation potential in sustainability management. A central question is how and which findings and concepts of business informatics can be utilised for this purpose.
The track focusses on ICT support for the economic, social and ecological dimensions of corporate sustainability management and discusses research questions, perspectives and state-of-the-art applications in this field. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the field, the aim is for experts from different disciplines to participate.
The track is aimed at users, software manufacturers and scientists from the fields of corporate environmental and business informatics as well as sustainability sciences.
