Description of the
BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) enables the composition of complex workflows from individual web services. OpenSAGA offers its own process description language. In the context of this thesis, the first step is to analyse what possibilities BPEL offers, what possibilities OpenSAGA offers and what important differences exist. Then it is necessary to examine what a mapping of BPEL to OpenSAGA process models could look like. Such a model-based transformation is to be implemented as an example.
